FUEL ATTENDANT
The above-mentioned vacancies exist at Ipelegeng in the Technical Department. The positions will report to the Workshop Foreman. Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12/Matric or equivalent academic qualifications.
- Experience or exposure to mechanic would an added advantage.
- Valid EC Driver’s licence would be an added advantage.
JOB OUTPUTS
- Refuel bus fleet
- Verify oil condition, levels and top up if necessary
- Verify coolant condition, levels and top up if necessary.
- Report defects
- Receive bulk fuel deliveries.
- Record fuel and lubricant issues to each vehicle
- Must be able to record pump readings correctly
- Activate fuel pumps at start of each shift.
- Deactivate fuel pumps at end of each shift.
- Maintain good housekeeping at the fuel bay

- Knowledge of the bus passenger industry.
- Working knowledge of the occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Knowledge of the workshop procedures.
