VEHICLE INSPECTOR

The above-mentioned vacancy exist at Ipelegeng in the Technical Department. The positions will report to the Workshop Foreman. Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Qualified Mechanical Artisan.
• Experience in maintenance of heavy duty vehicles.
• Experience in servicing and repairing of different automotive components.
JOB OUTPUTS
• To conduct inspection on vehicles before and after main service.
• To conduct inspection on different automotive components such as axles, engine components, brake systems, gear boxes, suspension components, drive line components and render advice and recommendations to the Artisans.
• Preparation for certification of fitness and registration of buses.
• Ensuring roadworthiness of the vehicles.
• Adhere to company’s health and safety procedures.
• Handle all related workshop administration
• On Job training of subordinates
• To conduct random inspection on vehicles at ready line
