JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification

• NTC qualification

• A valid driver’s license and PrDP will be an added advantage

• Experience in maintenance of heavy vehicles

JOB OUTPUTS

• Lubricate heavy duty vehicle components

• Inspect heavy duty vehicle mechanical components

• Check and correct fluid level of heavy duty vehicle components

• Remove and replace heavy duty vehicle components

• Conduct major services on related components of heavy duty vehicles

• Do minor repairs on heavy duty vehicles

• Diagnose faults on related heavy duty vehicle components

• Repair related heavy duty vehicle components

• Attend to breakdowns

• Do related workshop administration

• Adhering to workshop health and safety

• Attend operative training programmes
